The first public Syriac model on Transkribus

Model trained on the manuscript: ÖNB Cod. Syr. 1. Austrian National Library - Vienna (Österreichische Nationalbibliothek). The Syriac Gospels of Vienna scribed by Moses of Mardin in 1554 - Vienna. This first public Syriac model on Transkribus was prepared by the Syriac Group in IMAFO during the HTR Winter School 2024 - Vienna.

Try the model immediately without registration on the Transkribus website: The Syriac Gospels of Vienna (Serto).

Model trained on the manuscript: MS 36, Saint Mark's Monastery, Jerusalem. The second public Syriac model on Transkribus was prepared by the Syriac Group in IMAFO during the HTR Winter School 2025, Vienna.
